Antique French milk pot.


This antique milk pot was made at the end of the 19th century, or very beginning of 20th century, in Paris. 
The maker was Lenoir, a company which has now disappeared, and that was situated 93, Faubourg St Honore.

A photo of the building were Lenoir was situated, 
taken a few years ago. New shops have replaced the old company.


From 2003 to 2007, an French cultural TV show was called "93, Faubourg St Honore", because this was the address of the presenter. Famous French actors, writers, singers, journalists... were invited for supper, and talked about a specific subject during the meal.

Due to the presence of the chain, the lid can not be fully pushed into the pot. 








This pot is in good condition for its age.
