Beautiful H. Samuel 1950s travel clock.

"The H.Samuel story began in 1862 when Harriet Samuel took over her father-in-law's clock-making business in Liverpool." says H Samuel's company website...

They made (and are still making nowadays) fantastic quality clocks throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. Although the clock itself looks old, as the brass is tarnished, this is a great 1950s vintage travel clock.

It is working very well. The alarm is also working very well, although it tends to ring a little bit (five to ten minutes) before the expected time (watch the video below) so you will have to adjust it.

The small needle has lost its fluorescent paint (you can see it on the 4th picture).

The case is in very good condition : the outside is in excellent condition, the small metal parts inside are a bit scratched (photo number 8), and the plastic sheets that cover the inside are in excellent condition. Unfortunately the brass decoration is damaged.

And now, here are the photographs...

Unfortunately the brass decoration is damaged : see the two photos below.

The little dial changes the alarm time and the switch (above on the photo) stops the alarm. when it is ringing.
